when you peek into the oven to check on your quiche, and you decide it needs just a few more minutes to cook. But instead of standing in the kitchen for three more minutes, or setting the timer, you go back and sit in front of the computer. That's when a few minutes turns into...let's say....45 more minutes. Although, I really have no idea how much time it was.
