I never really played Monopoly. I remember playing with the fake money, rolling the dice, going to jail and choosing a cute game piece, but that's about all. I certainly didn't play by the rules.
This past weekend after some wings and burgers at Allsports Cafe, hubs and I picked up a Monopoly game from Walmart for just ten bucks. We brought it home, set it up and got down to business. Real estate business that is.
Having never really played the game, I got the sense early on that I wasn't going to like it. I wanted to hold on to my money, not give it up to purchase some property on the board my husband may never land on. I did eventually buy the deed to Board Walk. Too bad for me my husband bought the deeds and houses to one full corner of the board. Three hours later and with only $30 left, we called it quits. Or I guess I should say, I called it quits, and then pouted for the next thirty minutes about losing.
One good thing about being married to my best friend is that he still loves me after I've been such a sore loser! Thanks babe!

Too Funny, Carolina! I remember playing Clue at your old house behind the high school when we were kids...that and you wearing that purple dress with the hoop skirt! LOL!!
